About 50th Anniversary Fair

The City of Belleville’s Glanmore National Historic Site, part of the Community Services Department, is hosting a fair on July 15, 2023, to celebrate two big milestones: the 50th anniversary of its opening as a museum and 140 years since its construction.
Glanmore is celebrating these remarkable anniversaries with a day filled with free, family-friendly performances and activities on the lawn and the public is invited to bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the musical stylings of the Belleville Concert Band, Fiddle Earth, Jennifer Brant, and Cue the Funk. Children and adults alike will be awed by a magic show by Doc Century and family members can challenge each other to a game of croquet or test their skills with old-fashioned carnival games.
The fair will take place at Glanmore National Historic Site from 12:00 – 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 15th. An official welcoming ceremony and cake cutting will take place at 1:00 p.m., after which cake, and lemonade will be served.
Attendees at the event are encouraged to explore Glanmore, experience the new 1973 interactive exhibition and enjoy the celebrations on the lawn. Glanmore National Historic Site is located at 257 Bridge Street East, Belleville, Ontario.
