About 6-week Songwriting Workshop with Megan Hutton
Back by popular demand - explore and experience the magic of songwriting with Megan Hutton! In this 6-week workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of songwriting through a mix of instructional lectures and engaging activities. They will learn how to identify the various components of a song, write compelling melodies and lyrics, and use rhyme schemes. Students will have the opportunity to compose their own song and collaborate to create songs with their classmates. Megan will introduce weekly challenges and opportunities to help build confidence and knowledge in the songwriting process. This course is open to songwriters of all levels. No formal training in music or writing is required - anyone interested in learning how to write a song is welcome. Participants will leave with new connections, energy, and focus - and a new song!
