About An Evening with Beckett: Two One-Act Plays

River & Main Theatre at Theatre in the Wings presents “An Evening with Beckett”. Nobel Prize winning Irish playwright Samuel Beckett, is well known for his stark and often absurd perspective of our human existence. This presentation includes "Embers", starring Ian C Feltham, a staged radio play, where Henry is a man who is lost inside his own head with the relentless sound of the sea. This is followed by Bill McMahon's virtuoso performance in "Krapp’s Last Tape" where we witness a 69 year old man listening to his life as recorded by himself...year after year after year.

“An Evening with Beckett“ is thought provoking theatre that takes the audience on a journey that ultimately goes nowhere...and yet we feel moved.
