About ANDARA Gallery Presents: Tara Wilkinson I BARNSCAPES
“BARNSCAPES” is the latest exhibition and sale of new works by Canadian Fine Art Photographer and Digital Artist, Tara Wilkinson. Barns are an essential part of the rural landscape. Steeped in history, they’ve long been used for shelter, storage and as a gathering place for the community. There is something about a barn that evokes a feeling of comfort and sanctuary. Tara’s latest body of work captures the essence of County life … both past and present. “Every barn holds a story … about courage, strength, craftsmanship, ingenuity and perseverance. If only their walls could talk. My hope is that this show will help give voice to their incredible stories,” says Tara.
This exhibition is being dedicated to the memory of Tara’s dear friend and County lifetime farmer, the late Clifford Foster of Fosterholm Farms (celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2024). Anyone attending the Opening Reception on August 29th (7-9 PM) is asked to bring a canned food item for the local Food Bank in his honour.
