About Art for Well-Being - Call for Artist Facilitators
Are you a local community organization interested in partnering with the Art for Well-Being program? The program is recruiting (up to) four artist facilitators to run the new Art Together drop-in art-making pilot project at the County Arts Lab!
The Art for Well-Being programming stream (part of the Prince Edward County Arts Council) is creating accessible (free or by donation) group art making opportunities for residents. Access is prioritized for those experiencing, or at greater risk of, social isolation and physical and mental health challenges.
Ideal facilitators for this program have active listening skills and willingness to adapt to the needs of participants, at least three years of experience as a professional artist or art teacher, good group facilitation skills, and are comfortable working with residents facing various social isolation and mental health challenges. Facilitators should also be County Arts Artist Members in good standing and will receive $180 for each 3-hour meetup.
Visit the linked website for detailed information about the opportunity and to access the application portal.
