About BCS Memorial Scholarship
Since 1975, BCS has offered a scholarship to students moving on to post-secondary music education. The scholarship was originally named for one of BCS' first presidents, Hank Binnema, who died unexpectedly at the age of 41. The BCS Memorial Scholarship pays tribute not just to Hank but to several others who made significant contributions to the choir.
The scholarship has not been handed out every year, it is awarded based on availability of funds and suitability of applicants. Current budget is for a $1,000 award.

Application deadline: April 30th 2024
Auditions to be held in late May 2024
