Belleville Jazz Festival presents: The Lenni Stewart and Michael Monis Duo

Join us for an evening with jazz vocalist Lenni Stewart accompanied by Michael Monis on guitar. Enjoy Dinkels Restaurant's special jazz dinner!

Lenni's music and performance style are reminiscent of the early popular vocalists such as Peggy Lee, Doris Day, Sarah Vaughn and Judy Garland. 'Classy, sassy and sophisticated' she is a highly versatile entertainer. Lenni's strong stage presence, musicality, diverse repertoire and sense of humour make for a truly enjoyable and memorable audience experience.

Lenni performs in concert with the Lenni Stewart Jazz Trio, Lenny Graf Platinum Orchestra, Stewart & Gallo, and the Variety Dance Band, and has appeared as feature vocalist with the Cadillacs Showband, the Trentones and Big 8 Harmonizers among others. Lenni has shared the playbill with several Canadian music legends in special Benefit concerts, including Sylvia Tyson, Cindy Church and Georgette Fry.

Lenni toured across Canada as opening act for Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney in the nostalgic hit 'Let's Put On A Show' with tenor Julian Gallo, travelling from Whitehorse to Sydney and appearing in many of Canada's most beautiful theatres during 2 separate tours.
