What parents don’t dream of the relaxing day that they will finally be empty-nesters? Hilda and Sam Fluck are not exceptions, but just when they think they are free and clear, some unexpected family calamities hit. This is the beginning of the fun-filled plot of Hilda’s Yard, the full-length play from Canada’s own, Norm Foster. This heartwarming comedy is set on the back porch of the Fluck home and serves as a wonderful stage for the unfolding chaos as children return home and jolt their parents' dreams of retirement. Directed by Alexandra Bell, performances are April 4 to 21, Thursdays thru Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available online and at the door.
