About Between Breaths
Belleville Theatre Guild is proud to present the latest play by the renowned Newfoundland playwright Robert Chafe. This extraordinary true story of "the whale man" is a story about being trapped and being set free.
Journey to the Island of Newfoundland and into the homes of Jon and Judy Lien in Portugal Cove, and Wayne in Lord's Cove. From there, you'll find yourself out on the ocean trying to free a desperate whale caught in a fisherman's precious net as you follow the true life experience of these remarkable people.
“Between Breaths” has been chosen as the Guild's entry into the Eastern Ontario Drama League's full-length 2024 play festival.
