🌟 Featuring a Performance by the artist Luisé Cisneros
🌈 Location: Quinte Arts Council Cultural Hub – 36 Bridge St E Belleville ON
In celebration of Bay of Quinte Pride, Quinte Arts Council and local artist Luisé Cisneros present a powerful and heartfelt exhibition that honours our 2SLGBTQ+ community members who have passed away.
We invite the Bay of Quinte community to participate by bringing photographs of your loved ones to be included in a traditional ofrenda—a Mexican altar celebrating the lives of those who are no longer with us. This installation is more than an art exhibit; it’s a collective memory and celebration of lives, a poignant reminder of the ongoing struggle for 2SLGBTQ+ rights, and a space to pay our respects.
Be part of this touching tribute and join us at the opening reception for a special performance by Luisé Cisneros. Let’s come together to remember, celebrate, and continue the fight for equality.
