About Drawing for Absolute Beginners
In this course for beginning drawers, Artist Instructor Irene Götz will introduce participants to a range of fundamental drawing skills and techniques. Through a combination of visual examples, lessons, and exercises, participants will practice contour drawing, gesture drawing, composition, shading, drawing the human form and perspective. They will gain an introductory understanding of drawing, as well as comfort and confidence handling a couple of different drawing media. Participants will begin to explore and develop their own drawing practice while connecting with a community of other likeminded beginner artists. No artistic experience required!
