About Drawing from Observation with Jodi Shuster
Improve your drawing skills!
Using still life set-ups, we will learn to draw from observation. Contour, gesture, edges, proportions, and line quality will be some of the topics we’ll be covering.
No previous experience necessary. Some materials provided. Please email programs@baxterartscentre.org for a full list of required materials.
Thursday February 2, 9, 23 & March 2, 9, 23 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. (No class on Feb 16 or March 16, if any classes are cancelled due to weather, make up days will be on March 30 & April 6)
$200 for a 6-week course.
About Jodi Shuster
Jodi Shuster studied fine arts at Banff School of Fine Arts, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and Concordia University in Montreal. She also studied animation at Sheridan College and worked for two decades on children’s animation, creating short and feature length films and commercials in Montreal, Toronto, San Francisco, and Israel. Jodi works closely with interior designers producing work to suit the specific needs of their clients. Her work has been in several galleries in Montreal, and Toronto.
