About Find YOUR Wings! Career Fair for Girls and Young Women
Hosted by Prince Edward Flying Club, FIND YOUR WINGS will introduce girls and young women to careers in the aviation industry. This half-day event aims to encourage them to explore professions they might have dreamed about but were afraid to try—and to learn about jobs they may not even know exist. We want to inspire young women to broaden their horizons, follow their dreams, believe in themselves, and think about the great things they can achieve.
- Hear "in-conversation" presentations by female pilots throughout the afternoon
- Visit booths featuring various aviation-related companies, e.g., Air Cadets, RCAF careers, museums, flight schools, universities and colleges, and female pilot support organizations (99s, Northern Lights Aero Foundation)
- Tour the flight line and Meet real pilots
