About Finding & Nurturing Your Poetic Voice with Leigh Nash
Voice is a powerful tool in all forms of writing, but especially in poetry, where tone matters just as much as word choice. In poetry, voice describes a poet’s particular way of saying and describing things on the page, using elements like language, sentence structure, perspective, and rhythm.
Join writer, educator, and book publisher at Assembly Press, Leigh Nash, for a supportive workshop focused on uncovering, developing, and honing your unique-to-you poetic voice. Participants will be guided through writing exercises, readings, and workshopping opportunities to explore new ways of expressing themselves on the page.
No prior experience with reading or writing poetry is necessary – all that’s required is curiosity, compassion, and enthusiasm.
Age range – 18+
Friday February 13th, 2026 from 1-4 PM. Sliding scale pricing.
