About Grievous Angels ~ Live on the Patio at Meyer's Creek
Juno nominated Grievous Angels will return to Belleville to play a special afternoon show on the patio at Meyers Creek Brewing Company. This show will be one long set and include tracks from the new album Last Call for Cinderella (available now on Bandcamp), and many classic tunes from the band's 30+ year career. Songwriter, author, and politician Charlie Angus writes songs about Northern Ontario, working class Canadians, social justice, and the real history of Canada. Come out to hear these songs take shape with the current critically acclaimed lineup.
The present 7-piece lineup of the Grievous Angels features founding members Charlie Angus (guitar, vocals), Peter Jellard (fiddle, harmonica, accordion, guitar, vocals), and Tim Hadley (bass); also on stage are Janet Mercier (vocals), Alexandra Bell (keys, vocals), Nathan Mahaffy (drums, vocals), and Ian McKendry (guitar).
Tickets are available online with a limited amount available behind the bar at Meyer's Creek Brewing Company. Space is limited so get your tickets and come relax in beautiful downtown Belleville with music that will take you through the silver mines of Northern Ontario and across this great land.
