About Historic Impressions with Elizabeth Hutchinson
Discover all the charm The County has to offer in this series of en plein air painting sessions.
From Ameliasburgh to Waupoos, Elizabeth Hutchinson will take you on an artistic tour through historic regions and unusual landscapes. Grab your kit* and get ready for adventure. Any mediums are welcome!
Thursday September 8, 15, 22 & 29 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
$250 for a 4-week course. The purchase of a snack box will be available in September. Price TBD.
Join us for individual en plein air sessions as well. $65 per 3-hour class.

About Elizabeth Hutchinson
Elizabeth graduated from the Ontario College of Art, the University of Guelph, and finally from the New York Academy of Art with an MFA, cum laude in painting. After her training, Elizabeth went on to teach people of all ages in oil painting, drawing and watercolour, locally, at colleges and university, and abroad in Morocco. The expressive nature of oil paint continues to inspire her to keep working and learning.
About Guest Instructor Todd Tremeer
Todd Tremeer is a painter, printmaker and freelance art curator who specializes in oils, watercolour,
etchings, and linocuts. His art oscillates between military history and landscape painting.
Be it painting outdoors or from miniature models, close observation of his subject is an
important element in my work.
Todd Tremeer is a graduate from OCAD and its Florence, Italy program. BA/ University
of Guelph, MFA/Western University. Tremeer has exhibited across Canada, in the United
States, Italy, France and China. Major Awards and grants include: Joseph Plaskett Painting
Prize (2007), Best Watercolourist: Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition (2008, 2009, 2011), numerous
