About Ikebana and You
Presented along with Grazynka’s Ikebana and Emebet's May Photography Exhibition.
Join me, Grazynka Shaarani, for a beginner Ikebana workshop in 2 parts at the Quinte Arts Council.
In the first session: May 16th Saturday-10-12, you will learn about Japanese art flower arrangements, its principles and its basic rules. (See below what to bring)
In the second session: May 28 Thursday 6-8pm, we will dissemble and recompose arrangements used in the exhibition, also participants may like to use their own containers and create an arrangement. (See what to bring below)
No experience is necessary.
This workshop is for anybody who is curious this art form.
LOCATION: 36 Bridge St. East, Quinte Arts Council, Belleville
FEE: $20. Covers both sessions
WHAT TO BRING:
* for the first session, a pair of scissors, 3 flowers with a long stem. Basic containers will be provided.
* for the second session, bring a container of your choice, preferably flat and can hold water.
