About Intro to Surface Pattern Design
In this 5-week course with Instructor Amanda Smith, designers will learn about shapes and motifs, repetition, and the basics of the elements of design through various surface design activities. Participants will be led through explorations in drawing, painting, and block printing/stamping all as ways of creating surface design. Students will have the chance to make their own patterns and designs on paper, fabric, and more. No experience necessary, all materials included.

Sliding Scale pricing $100-$200 plus materials fee for 5 weeks
