About Introduction to Portrait Photography with Tommy Feiler

This 6-week course introduces students to the art of portrait photography through hands-on practice, weekly assignments, and structured critique. Students will explore natural and artificial light, posing, composition, environmental and conceptual portraiture, as well as candid/street photography approaches. The course emphasizes creative decision-making, technical control, and developing a personal visual voice.

Age range – 18+

6 Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-5:30 PM: March 24, 31, April 7, 14, 21, & 28, 2026 at the County Arts Lab, Unit 2E, Picton Armoury Building. Sliding scale pricing.
