About Introduction to Street Art & Murals w/ Jamie Janx Johnston
Dive into the world of street art & murals with internationally awarded, published & exhibited photographically-based multi-medium artist, Jamie Janx Johnston!
Over 6-weeks, participants will build skills through hands-on studio sessions, creating a series of study works that lead to a final piece combining multiple urban art techniques. Learn about graffiti, murals, and the cultural history of urban art while experimenting with stencilling, spray paint, lettering, and wheat pasting.
Participants will create individual works and also come together to produce a collaborative artwork using the materials developed throughout the course. No prior experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to experiment!
Age range – 18+
6 Tuesday evenings from 5-7 PM: February 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, March 3rd & 10th, 2026. Sliding scale pricing.
