About Irish Millie - LIVE!
Irish Millie is a 17 year old, grade 12 student who recorded her first album - Thirteen - at 13 years old. That project earned her a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for Young Performer of the Year. Together with her band The Receivers, she was nominated for the same award in 2023 and in 2024 for her EP The Trilogy.
She's toured across Canada, in the US and Europe - and is releasing her second full-length CD in the spring!
"I love all fiddle music. I am passionate about the East Coast, Bluegrass and Contemporary Trad styles. I love to play fast-paced, fun, and challenging tunes that get the crowd up on their feet. I also love to write my own music."
