About Jalgua
Jalgua Peace Festival is a Truth & Reconcili-action initiative presented by globally recognized peace activist, recording artist, actor, author and entrepreneur, Emmanuel Jal.
"Jalgua" means... "walk with power"... "walk in peace"... in Emmanuel Jal's mother tongue. Said simply, jalgua means, "walk good"...
We will be bringing together wellness brands and community for an opening performance from the album, "Building Bridges" by local artist, Borelson followed by a feature dance-based, visual illustration fashion show by Skin Theorist Co. showcasing hue(mans) as ONE united race.
Our final headliner will be Emmanuel Jal himself performing key pieces from a few of his 7 albums. He will then engage in live conversation with our diamond sponsors on stage about Equity, Inclusion and Diversity as it pertains to actionable restorative justice to foster collective peace and unity. #everychildmatters is an inclusive hashtag that unifies us all. Emmanuel Jal shares his lived experience as a child-soldier for social-emotional learning to unify all people as ONE.
