About Job Posting: PELC Special Project Coordinator

The Prince Edward Learning Centre is looking for an energetic, empathetic, business oriented trainer for youth needing assistance to succeed in education and in the workforce. 4 month contract, 35 hours per week.

You will:
- Create workshops and educational materials
- Deliver training in the area of Literacy & Essential Skills
- Organize work placements with employers
- Assist with successful transitions to the work placements
- Provide on-going support while on the job
- Refer parcipanm to supportive community resources where appropriate
- Maintain positive working relationships with referral case managers

Education & Qualifications:
College Diploma or University Degree and demonstrated excellent in:
- Working with youth group facilitation
- Establishing and maintaining successful relationships with community groups, employers, government agencies, co-workers and supervisors
- Creation of educational workshops

Other:
- Must have a valid license and a reliable vehicle
- Must be wiling to undergo a criminal record check with acceptable results for working with minors
