"Light and Shadow" Fall Show

Picton, Ontario — Arts on Main Gallery is excited to announce its upcoming fall show, "Light and Shadow" This exhibit will highlight the dynamic interplay between light and dark through the eyes of its 24 member artists. The exhibition will run from August 30, 2024, through November 27, 2024, with an exclusive VIP Opening Reception on August 30, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
"Light and Shadow" showcases new works created by the talented artists of Arts on Main Gallery. Each artist has approached the theme with their unique style and medium, resulting in a diverse collection of pieces ranging from paintings and sculptures, to photography and mixed media.
The August 30th VIP Opening Reception will give invited guests an exclusive preview of the exhibition. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet many of the artists and be the first to preview their works. Complimentary beverages provided by Huff Estates Winery and appetizers will be served.
About Arts on Main Gallery:
Arts on Main Gallery is a co-op gallery located in the heart of Main Street, Picton. It has been a cornerstone of the local art scene since 2007. It features the works of 24 local artists. The gallery is dedicated to supporting and promoting the artistic talents of its members and their diverse expertise..
The gallery is also host to guest artists in its Backroom Gallery. The Backroom Gallery currently hosting a new show from August 23 until October 4 featuring Bill Hurst. Bill’s collection of paintings are impressions of urban spaces in acrylic based on his travels in North America, Europe and Asia.
