About Making Zines with Kaya Joan
Join artist Instructor Kaya Joan for a Zine making worskhop! Zines are self-published books often containing art, photography and writing, rooted in do-it-yourself culture.
During this workshop, participants will learn about the history of zines, and be guided through the processes of creating one of their own using one sheet of paper. Participants will be encouraged to think about a theme they feel is important, and explore it through the zine, fill your zine with whatever content suits you, like writing, drawing, photographs, collage etc!
Join Kaya to playfully explore this versatile medium, build on your existing skills and create in community! No experience required, all materials provided.
