Join the Friends of the Tweed Public Library in welcoming acclaimed authors Michael Ondaatje and Linda Spalding on Friday Aug. 23 at 7:00 pm. Michael Ondaatje wrote the well-known book to movie 'The English Patient' among other works of fiction (e.g., 'In The Skin of the Lion') and poetry. Linda Spalding has written many works of fiction and non-fiction contributing to Canadian literature. Following the talk, there will be refreshments and signed copies of books available for purchase.
