About Mike Murley/Mark Eisenman Quartet with Neil Swainson & Terry Clarke

Mike Murley is one of Canada’s most celebrated jazz artists. He has played on fourteen Juno Award-winning recordings since 1990, seven as a leader or co-leader, seven as a sideman.

Mark Eisenman has performed in many different venues with numerous eminent Canadian and U.S. jazz artists including Art Farmer, Barney Kessel, Ed Bickert, Rob McConnell, Sam Noto, and Pat LaBarbera.

Terry Clarke is a familiar face at jazz festivals, concert halls, and venues throughout the world. He has recorded over 300 albums with various jazz artists. Clarke has performed with an amazing list, including: Don Thompson, The Fifth Dimension, Frank Rossolino, Lenny Breau, Jim Hall, Oscar Peterson, Rob McConnell and the Boss Brass, The Toshiko Akiyoshi Jazz Orchestra, Helen Merrill, Toots Theilemans, Ann Hampton Callaway, Red Mitchell, Marvin Stamm, Jim Hall, Bill Mays, Roger Kellaway, and Joe Roccisano, to list just a few.

Neil Swainson began working with Paul Horn in 1975. He also backed up such musicians as Barney Kessel, Herb Ellis, Sonny Stitt, Moe Koffman, Ed Bickert, Rob McConnell, Peter Appleyard, and many others. He has played with many visiting jazz artists, including: James Moody, George Coleman, Jay McShann, Tommy Flanagan, Lee Konitz, Joe Farrell, Slide Hampton, and Woody Shaw. With George Shearing, they worked worldwide with many other great artists, such as Mel Tormé, Joe Williams, Nancy Wilson, Robert Farnon, and Diana Krall.
