Join Artist Educator Emebet Belete for a practical, beginner‑friendly two‑part workshop at the Quinte Arts Council.
Learn how to photograph your artwork using your phone or camera in the first session, then turn those images into simple, professional social media posts using Canva in the second session.
Dates & Time:
◦ Day 1
Photograph Your Artwork: May 9, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
◦ Day 2
Canva for social media: May 21, 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Location: 36 Bridge St. East
Quinte Arts Council, Belleville
Fee: $20 total (covers both sessions)
What to bring:
◦ At least one piece of your artwork
◦ A smartphone or digital camera (fully charged) and for Day 2, a laptop or tablet with access to Canva (free accounts are fine)
What you'll learn:
Day 1: Learn simple ways to photograph your artwork with good light, clear focus, and clean backgrounds. You’ll leave with 2–3 strong images of your work.
Day 2: Import those photos into Canva to design simple, eye-catching social media posts featuring your name and artwork details.

This is a two‑part workshop, and you’ll get the most benefit by attending both days.
