About Punch Needle Art with Renee Lortie
In this 2-day workshop, participants will learn about the history of punch needle technique and its many dynamic applications; rugs, upholstery, pillows, patches and art. Renee will lead students through the whole process from stretching canvas, threading of the needle and all the stitches and textures possible with this technique. Students will be provided with designs to choose from or will be welcome to make their own design meeting the parameters for the project. Participants will leave with a working knowledge of punch needle stitches/textures, the applications for these, and will have completed a piece of art, framed in a wooden embroidery hoop. No experience required, all materials included.

Sliding Scale pricing, $120-$240 for two six hour days, plus materials fee
