About Quinte Film Alternative presents COUP!
In the midst of the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918, a stranger turns up on an estate claiming to be the new cook. With the plague knocking on the gates, the wealthy family and their servants find their normal lives challenged by external forces and those inside the walls. In this subversive comedy, people with the necessary skills are the new aristocracy, especially the cook who doesn’t seem to acknowledge his lowly status.
