A chance encounter at a concert for 17-year-old Vera Brandes changes her life, and the music world, forever. With little experience this “concert promoter” rents a major venue and lures jazz master Keith Jarrett to Köln. Vera must channel all of her youthful energy and rebellious spirit to overcome the obstacles stacked against her. Then, shockingly, the 1975 performance on a balky instrument becomes the best-selling piano concert recording of all time.
