A social satire combining Canadian deadpan humour with a deft Norwegian eye for darkness. A small town is experiencing an epidemic of unusual and bizarre accidents and deaths. The town is run by “The Commission”: the Sheriff, the Doctor and the Pastor. Rather than trying to prevent the frequent fatalities they decide to hire a ‘Middle Man’ whose sole responsibility will be to inform the family when an unfortunate incident occurs.
