About Sewing Workshop for the Absolute and Terrified Beginner

What you need to know to operate a sewing machine with confidence.

Over 12 hours, you will learn the ABCs of machine sewing. Learn how to set up and thread a sewing machine, master the basics in machine stitching and practice fabric cutting, sewing and construction techniques. By the end of the 2 day workshop, participants will have completed two projects.

Saturdays. April 6 & April 13 from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM*. This workshop takes place over two Saturdays. With the support of The Huff Family Fund, we are able to offer a tiered Pay-What-You-Can options of $50, $100 or $200*

*Doors open at 8:30 AM. Participants are not required to have their own sewing machine. Baxter has 5 sewing machines on site. If you would have your own, you may bring it and store it at Baxter for the length of the program.
