About Silent Film in the Barn
BIGLAKE Arts invites you to the annual Fundraiser Concert, to come and experience a one-of-a-kind musical experience in a gorgeous barn setting.
This year we are returning to the 1920s, an era of silent films. Enjoy Buster Keaton‘s classic film The General with live piano improvisation performed by none other than the brilliant Ilya Poletaev. In BIGLAKE style, we are taking it up a notch and showing the film in its original format, from a reel projector!
Because of this, the film will be shown after the sun goes down and we invite you to join us beforehand for a sunset wine and canapé reception, food donated by The Drake Devonshire.
Dress code: Strongly encouraged to wear something sparkly!
8:00 PM – Sunset cocktails & canapés
9:00 PM – Film Begins
11:00 PM – Film Ends
