Call for Submissions: Student Photography Contest
The Quinte Arts Council, in partnership with the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board, is thrilled to launch a Student Photography Contest celebrating the people, places, and beauty of the Bay of Quinte region!
📸 What We're Looking For
Show us what makes the Bay of Quinte special to you! Where do you love to go? What do you love to photograph? Submit your best images and share your story for a chance to win a brand new digital camera and cash prizes — plus, winning entries will be featured in an exhibition at the QAC Cultural Hub in August 2025.
🍁 Seasonal Submissions Welcome
While the contest runs in June, we welcome photography from all seasons — spring, summer, fall, or winter. However, all entries must be recent: photos must have been taken between June 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025.
🎯 Who Can Enter
Students can enter in one of four age categories:
Ages 7–9
Ages 10–12
Ages 13–15
Ages 16–18
Winners will be required to provide proof of age. Each student may submit up to two (2) original images. Additional entries will not be considered.
🖼️ Technical Requirements
Accepted file types: JPEG/JPG, TIFF, or PNG. RAW files may be requested from winners for exhibition and print purposes. All photography must be the original work of the entrant.
📅 Deadline to Submit
Submissions open June 1, 2025 and close June 30, 2025.
📬 Winner Notification
Winners will be notified via email in July 2025.
