About Summer Arts Experience. Gouache Landscape Painting

What is Gouache? It is an opaque, matte watercolour that can be applied smoothly like oil paint, vibrantly like acrylic paint, or over transparent, loose watercolour paints. It can cover other layers. It makes it excellent to create layers. That is handy with landscape painting. It is also excellent for plein air, as it is clean and portable.

This workshop is suitable for beginners to painting or seasoned artists looking to incorporate gouache into their repertoire. There will be an artist talk, demos, and one-on-one guidance. The idea is to learn to be friendly to gouache and, at the same time, enjoy the process.

Your instructor, Valerie Kent loves gouache and is completely taken with this versatile medium. Registration is now open.
