About the Caw-ling: Solo show by Sonia D'Aloisio
Sonia D’Aloisio is a self-taught artist and founder of So Hip It Hurts, Toronto’s oldest skate and snowboard shop. After decades in graphic design, including a Juno nomination for Our Lady Peace’s Clumsy, she returned to painting following the loss of a beloved raven. Her evocative oils of ravens, crows, and barn owls explore healing, transformation, and the beauty and mystery of these birds, reflecting a deep spiritual and emotional connection to the natural world and her life’s purpose.
Show dates: October 31st - November 23rd Gallery hours: Friday thru Sunday noon- 5pm
Opening Reception : Saturday November 1st 1 -4 pm. Artist in attendance.
