About Waltz and Rumba for Beginners w/ Janine Sheeres
Learn something new for the dance floor!
Join instructor Janine Sheers for lessons in Waltz and Rumba in this inclusive and energetic class.
Participants are welcome to wear clothing that they feel comfortable in and we encourage you to dress for an evening out dancing! For the dance floor, dress shoes with a leather sole are preferred.
Mondays.
March 2, 9, 23, 30 April 13 & 20 (Skipping March Break & Easter)
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Baxter Arts Centre
$75 per person.
This is a partnered dance class. For your comfort, we suggest signing up with a partner.
About Your Instructor
Janine Sheeres
For the past 25 years, Janine has been dancing in Toronto with a professional, world-class Russian instructor. She has experience in Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Salza, Zamba, Tango, Buchata, Cha Cha Cha, and Quickstep. She is an active senior and has recently completed teaching a Basic Ballroom Segment in the County to mature students through The Probus Club. In 2024, she taught Latin Dancing for Beginners at Baxter. She has lived in the County for the past 18 years part time, now becoming a full time resident.
