Spring Show in The County
Picton, ON -- Arts On Main Gallery, at 223 Main Street in Picton, Prince Edward County, looks forward to welcoming art-loving patrons to its spring show, WHIMSY and WONDER, which opened on March 2nd and runs until May 28th.
This co-operative gallery, representing 24 of The County and surrounding area’s most renowned local artists, holds four new shows every year, exhibiting the best of painting, photography, shadow box, pastel work, pottery, ceramic and wire sculpture, fine stone sculpture, turned wooden artwork, jewellery, fibre art, mixed media, and multidisciplinary art.
The gallery is thrilled to welcome six newly juried members: Agnes Bellegris, Ron Irwin, Howard Goldberg, Adryan Manasan, Laurie McLachlan, and Tom Ashbourne.
In addition to the main gallery, The Back Room space of Arts on Main Gallery presents a new show entitled “Capturing the World” featuring exceptional local photographers. It opens on March 9th with a reception from 2 to 4 pm and will run until April 18th. The artists include Margaret Liddon, Bert Jenkins, Daphne Creasy, Lois Child, Sheila Ascroft, Ron Erwin and Rick Mathews.
