In conversation about mystery writing, storytelling, and the writing life. This event is FREE to attend.

Janet Kellough has written across a wide range of disciplines from stage to page. She has authored seven books in The Thaddeus Lewis Mystery Series, the fifth of which, Wishful Seeing was shortlisted for the 2017 Crime Writers of Canada Arthur Ellis Award for Best Novel and subsequently adapted as a theatre production by 4th Line Theatre.

Her science fiction thriller The Bathwater Conspiracy was a 2019 nominee for an Alberta Publishing Award. She has also written both contemporary and historical novels and produced numerous feature articles for community newspapers.

As a storyteller, Kellough has written, produced and performed in numerous shows that feature local and regional history, such as  Fowke Tales, Survivors of War and Tales from the Wellington Dump. Along with fellow crime writer Vicki Delany, she co-founded Women Killing It, a literary festival that uniquely focussed on women authors in the field of crime writing. Janet lives in an unfashionable part of Prince Edward County with a husband, a blue heeler and thousands of red cedar trees.
